Supports the overall team.ResponsibilitiesAdministrationProvides support to datacenter facilities, on semi-routine administrative dutiesFollows standard procedures on answering incoming phone callsReviews and responds to semi-routine work request systems (i.e., dispatch, updates, etc.)Supports customers by coordinating visits and schedules in the data center; assists on semi-routine inquiries and issuesMaintains the conference room and tour schedules while customers are on-siteDirectly coordinates activities with the Equinix Response Center (ERC), as neededKeeps records of activities within the data center including circuit inventories, installed power inventories and labor hours expendedMay generate purchase requisitions and coordinate with vendors for delivery and invoicingMay assist with special projectsCustomer SupportCommunicates semi-routine operating datacenter procedures to customers on-site, while building and develping positive customer relationshipsCoordinates semi-routine customer work visits with security and escorts customers and/or vendors, within a reasonable vicinity, as requiredAssists with tracking, following-up, and reporting on semi-routine customer inquiries and issues while customers are on-site; identifies potential trends in customer inquiries and issuesAddresses semi-rounte work visit tickets in the systemProvides general induction learning tours to new customers to orient them to the siteDirects customers (via direct line) throughout the facilities, as neededOnsite Customer Liaison Supports the coordination of tasks to the appropriate cross-functional teamsMaintains positive business relationships with local vendors in support of customer's administrative needs; provides information about local vendors to customers upon requestSends customer's datacenter templates by phone, e-mail and/or printoutsMaintains customer care areas/conference rooms for cleanliness and fully stocking amenities as required; may provide backup coverage to cross functional teams to support inventory orderingPartners with teams in the tracking of customer shipments when on-siteUses developing knowledge to discern customer satisfaction related issues and escalates appropriatelyQualificationsTypically requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years of equivalent work experience.Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability. • California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $43,000 to $65,000
• Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $39,000 to $59,000
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
