Job Summary Marketing Program Management is the backbone of Global Marketing at Equinix, enabling our teams to operate as effectively and efficiently as possible and ensuring seamless end-to-end delivery of our digital marketing efforts on the dot com. We lead Equinix digital marketing efforts and are responsible for defining and implementing process and governance, along with stakeholder management. Who an Associate Digital Program Manager is: As an Associate Digital Marketing Program Manager, you will be tasked with building out timelines and process across the marketing team to break down barriers and improve marketing output. You're an expert at stakeholder management across all levels, documentation, and creating agile, efficient and scalable projects. You thrive in an "all hands on deck" environment and are able to operate at a high pace and across multiple teams.ResponsibilitiesPlanning Plans through collaboration across functional teams to create simple business cases and independently collate project plans with an appropriate planning toolStakeholder ManagementAnticipate and creatively solve challenges proactively by identifying and working with teams to mitigate conflicts and resolve issuesMaps out stakeholder lists, consult on stakeholder requirements and pro-actively manage stakeholders needs and seek feedbackEscalating only to resolve complex stakeholder issuesWorks with a number of stakeholders that may include regional/global stakeholdersCommunicationsBuild and manage relationships through open and consistent communication to establish and maintain trust including setting and managing expectationsThink beyond the silos and naturally tailor your communication based on the audienceCollaborate and work with assigned business leads to understand strategic plans, align on needs, and lead the team through executionUses consistent tools, templates and requires minimal feedback on messages delivered to audiencesRisk ManagementRisk and issue management, planning and responses are identified at an appropriate level for the project complexity and risk management Captures risks and proactively puts plans in place to mitigate exposure to risksProject/Program DeliveryResponsible for the delivery of projects across multiple functional groupsResource Management (people, finances etc.)Produces resource/cost plans and estimatesTracks costs to plan, and manages changes to plansWith support will remediate issues with external suppliers and contractorsCustomer Care (For employees working in Customer Care and Experience)Manages complex customer deployments involving cross-functional teams, sometimes multi-site and multi-regionalCreates and communicates with customers using detailed project plans with unique milestones and overall deployment schedulesEngages and directs cross-functional internal stakeholders on project team and holds them accountable for meeting commitmentsHas a fundamental technical knowledge of all Equinix products/processesResolves issues and escalations independently (manager-assisted at executive level)Qualifications 5+ years experience preferredDiploma to a Bachelor's Degree preferredPrince2 Practitioner certification preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills & comfortable communicating with all levels, including Sr. level leadersExcellent organizational skills & attention to detail a high sense of urgency, initiative, & proactive planningAbility to work in a fast paced collaborative team environment and maintain relationships with team and key business partnersAbility to think critically and solve problemProficiency in prioritizing and managing complex programs, channels and tactic mixLead a high volume of projects, under tight deadlines, working autonomouslyEquinix is an Equal Employment Opportunity and, in the U.S., an Affirmative Action employer.
