This is a unique opportunity for a passionate leader to join our team at an exciting growth stage.As a critical member of our partner team, this position will be responsible for executing Calix’s industry association and external affairs strategy by evolving and running programs that support key stakeholder relationships with trade associations and other third-party organizations. The Senior Manager will ensure alignment between these organizations and Calix’s goals and objectives to achieve business outcomes. The Senior Manager will have day-to-day interactions with a variety of internal Calix teams and external trade associations. Thus, the Senior Manager will be comfortable operating programs that involve internal and external stakeholders to support these results.Responsibilities:Build and maintain programs that promote strong relationships with key stakeholders, including association partners, regulatory agencies, industry associations, and community groups.Represent Calix as a thought leader in meetings with industry associations, third party organizations, and community groups, advocating for programs that support the company’s growth and competitivenessCommunicate the nature, status, and value of the trade associations to internal Calix stakeholder groups;Collaborate with business units and internal teams, to ensure that Calix’s external affairs efforts are aligned with its overall strategy and communications;Coordinate appropriate Calix updates, internally and externally;Build multi-level relationships with trade associations, as appropriate;Qualifications:Strong track record of success in building strategic partnerships.Telecommunications industry experience preferred. Industry association experience a plus.8+ years of experience in external affairs or a related field, with a proven track record of success in building relationships with third party organizations, industry associations, and community organizations.Goal oriented, assertive and a hands-on, problem solver.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with a wide range of stakeholders.Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Proven influencer with ability to identify and drive new opportunities.Strategically agile self-starter who can work independently and in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.Cultural fit within the Calix team, team player, comfortable with ambiguity and results oriented.#LI-Remote
