Early Career Rotational Program is a comprehensive program that combines senior leadership interaction and cross-business experience with real situations and projects. Participants have the opportunity to engage in development rotations from across the Supply Chain organization: Sourcing, Manufacturing/Test Engineering, Supply Chain Planning, Solution Architecture, and Order management, Customer Operations and FulfillmentEach rotation has been designed to improve supply chain acumen, business knowledge, and build an overall understanding of Calix Supply Chain while contributing to the team’s success. With the ability to work across our multiple disciplines, this position will provide excellent learning experience for candidates, an opportunity to develop critical leadership & technical skills, and the ability to drive incremental value & change. Participants will be assigned a mentor who will provide ongoing coaching and feedback, setting the foundation for success. At the end of each rotation candidates will also have the opportunity to present their projects and learnings in front of leaders within Supply Chain. Verify pricing and product availability.Schedules shipments to ensure delivery by promised deadlines.Assists customers, field personnel, carriers, and team members with order inquiries.Manages 3PL partner in receiving supply and fulfilling orders.Manages logistics partners in cost, quality, and delivery objectives.Resolves logistics and transportation problems.Performs other Order Fulfillment and Logistics related duties as assigned.Strategic Sourcing:Collaborate and develop strong relationships with suppliers and an active supplier network.Develop category strategies to provide the best service and cost savings opportunity benefiting multiple entities.Collaborate with buyers to develop global strategies.Reports monthly Sourcing KPIs.Lead and report on supply chain sustainability and risk initiativesLead Supplier QBRs and supplier performance reviewsWork on projects and new opportunities to reduce costs and increase optimization of existing processes.Solution Architecture and Process enablement (Supply Chain Transformation)Lead strategic project intake and review.Design solutions to improve systems and processes in support of supply chain growth.Develop internal Supply Chain-specific training and enablement programs.Communicate project status to stakeholders.Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful project delivery.Manufacturing/Test Engineering:Develop and implement Manufacturing Process documents for a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.Utilize basic drafting and software programs to develop MPPs, design tooling, support equipment, and process flows.Provide support to manufacturing teams.Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce costs and increase yields.Investigate the root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement.Defines, refines, and maintains processes, methods, and plans for testing products.Troubleshoots and debugs electrical circuits to determine the root cause for test station and product issues.Ensures that test plans can be easily developed and maintained.Supply Planning:Assist in developing and executing strategies to optimize sales, inventory turns, in-stock rates.Create plans for supply orders reflective of Calix inventory and customer supply goals.Communicate with suppliers to ensure follow-through on replenishment orders and inventory commitments.Monitor key performance indicators and drive corrective actions with suppliers and cross-functional partners.Manage efficient inbound inventory flows and health, including purchasing, and reducing excess inventory.Support initiatives to drive improvements in the Inventory Planning systems, data, and processes.Drive root cause analysis/reporting on inventory related issues, developing action plans and Project manage the improvements.Conduct ad hoc analysis (financial and operational) using standard scripts and reporting to access data and/or Excel to drive supplier action and support decisions.Regularly communicate performance trends and improvement opportunities to management both within and outside your immediate line of reportingQualifications:Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or EngineeringMinimum GPA 3.0Demonstrated leadership experience.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHas interest/ability to work in a dynamic, challenging work environment.Good time management/organization skills with the ability to multi-taskStrong knowledge of Microsoft ProgramsData analytics experience preferred.Project management skills/exposureMust be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.Demonstrate global cultural awareness.Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and driveStrong interpersonal skills, building trust both internally and externally.Location:Remote-based role located in the North America#LI-Remote
