Job Summary:We are seeking an AP/AR Specialist. Position is a blend of transactional and entry-level Accounting. This person must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task.Responsibilities:Review and record manual checks into accounting module and positive pay system. Review entails ensuring all check logs are accurate and all required supporting documents are filed accordinglyInitiate wire requests and input outgoing wires into the A/P systemPerform accounts payable processing tasks including review for approval, invoice entry & filingInitiate payment for items such as rent, taxes, artist, charity, and promoter settlementPrepare paperwork, secure proper W-9 documentation and set up new vendors in A/PCoordinate with vendors and internal operations management for bill payment and resolutionResolve open credit items with vendorsReview uncleared manual checks for possible void and re-issueApply payments received to open invoices in A/R moduleComplete account reconciliations as assigned by supervisorPrepare and record journal entriesProvide audit support as neededAssist with month-end close processOther duties as assignedQualifications:College Degree with accounting/finance coursework and/or major preferred2+ years of experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detailAbility to travelQuality problem solving skillsQuality communication skillsOracle experience a plusProduction experience a plusPossess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment C3 Core Competencies:Demonstrate integrity in the way you operate in day-to-day business and the way you deal with peopleCommunicate effectively with various audiences by organizing and delivering information appropriately and listening actively to othersProactively seek solutions to problems.
