Insomniac’s Clubs Division includes venues such as Exchange LA, Academy LA, Time Nightclub, Nova SD, and The Vanguard.THE ROLE:The Digital Advertiser will support in all facets of the marketing and digital advertising process, focusing on digital media planning, buying, strategy, and analytics. This position will be responsible for utilizing previous experience to assist in the development of effective awareness, traffic, and conversion driving plans and providing in-depth analysis throughout and post-campaign, with a heavy focus in paid social media strategies & implementation. In addition, the Digital Advertiser role will be expected to lead the entire asset request and management process through the entirety of the campaign, including recommendations for what features ads should entail (i.e., Call to Action), trafficking creatives, sending tags to publishers, and analyzing performance on a daily basis. This position reports to the Marketing Director and Head of Marketing. This is not a remote position.RESPONSIBILITIESImplement campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google Platforms (GDN, SEM, & YouTube), TikTok, Snapchat, Yelp, Linkedin, Uber, Lyft, Spotify, Soundcloud, etcDeliver media campaign updates to managers on a regular basis; recommend optimizations based on vendor / platform performanceManage internal audience database and update across Facebook, Snapchat, & other required platforms at least weeklyDevelop and execute effective media plans that result in elevated ticket salesMaintain plan records, insertion orders, contact lists, spec documents, purchaser data, invoices, etc.Utilize data and analytics to grow digital channel mix and provide frequent quantitative recommendations to improve strategyPartner closely with project management, marketing, and social media teams and marketing/media vendors to request and deliver necessary marketing assetsStay abreast of digital trends, competitive landscape, and new vendor offeringsMaintain strong relationships with vendor communityConduct post-campaign recaps that include analysis of media plan, digital metrics and strategic recommendations for future eventsOrganize and present strategic recommendations and reporting in PowerPoint to managers and executives as neededManage the entire digital ad trafficking process, including creating tags, sending to partners, & updating creative on the back end when requiredBuild campaign performance reporting inclusive of aggregating information from third parties for Announce, On-Sale, and campaign end, as well as weekly reportsTroubleshoot media plan & proposal discrepanciesOwnership of campaigns from inception, RFPs, and planning to implementation, execution, and actualizationBuild trust, collaborate/value others, drive execution, foster innovation and protect Insomniac’s brand integrityOther special projects and tasks assigned as neededQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree In marketing or related field required3+ years of experience managing direct response advertising campaigns - agency/social experience preferredAdvanced experience in Meta Ads ManagerIntermediate experience in Google Search, YouTube, Digital Display, and TikTok strategy and implementationPreferred experience in Snapchat, Spotify, Uber/Lyft, Yelp, LinkedInExcels in organization and multitasking on projects pertaining to numerous shows at once (note, 100+ simultaneous campaigns to support)Experience in programmatic media, data analysis and budgetingAdvanced understanding of digital media buying process (i.e., digital vendors, negotiation, creative asset management, implementation, reporting)CRM experience preferredStrong understanding of Google analyticsThorough understanding of Attribution Tracking / ModelingUnderstanding of Insomniac brands, electronic music, artists, and audienceAdheres to all requirements for confidentiality of corporate, strategic and marketing informationApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by Insomniac for a visa.EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITYInsomniac strongly supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, marital status, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by state or federal law.HIRING PRACTICESThe preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
