Job Summary:THE TEAMThe Technology Support Specialist team is responsible for the preparation and delivery of events on site to key clients as well as assisting remotely for self-service events. You will add value to the client relationships and bring your expertise as an event delivery specialist to the Ticketmaster and Moshtix businesses.The team is distributed between sites in Australia and New Zealand and as a result there will be a need for occasional travel.THE JOB The purpose of this role is ensuring all technology solutions and services operate seamlessly in the field. This role is also pivotal in the identification of opportunities to implement new technologies and solutions to improve the efficiency and delivery of world class solutions and services.This role works closely with key suppliers related to event IT services and is typically the external face of IT Operations, particularly vendors. You will take the lead in relation to management of venue technology solutions to support implementations, processes and policy’s management.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Interface with counterparts in the global Ticketmaster organisation for the support and enhancement of Field Technology products and solutions.Assist in the implementation and oversee a robust procurement process for hardware and software used across the IT function.Assist in the development and maintenance of technology roadmaps of Field Technology for Australia and New ZealandWork closely with vendors and outsource providers, ensuring adherence to service levels.Coordinate all investigations, feasibility studies and surveys of proposed and existing technology.Ensure the security and integrity of Field Technology systems.Manage / Assist Telco cutovers & Network changes whenever needed.Oversee the provision of support for new clients to ensure effective implementation of technology.Ensure compliance in areas including Trade Practices, Privacy, Occupational Health & Safety, and other regulatory expectations.Provide advice and technical expertise to relevant parties to ensure the smooth running of projects and major events.REQUIRED COMPETENCIESWell-developed interpersonal and relationship management skills.Strong written and verbal communications skills.A demonstrated ability to share knowledge via effective communication to diverse groups of people with different skill levels and technical aptitude.Previous experience in service delivery or field support would be advantageous.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and Public Holidays where necessary and to manage a flexible working roster.
