Job Summary:Company: Live Nation Ireland Location: 3Arena, DublinReports to: Finance Manager Working Hours: Full time, permanentRole DescriptionThis role will assist with all areas of the Finance Function and will provide support to the Finance Manager and Management Accountants.Who you areCompetencies / Skills / Knowledge / ExperienceStrong organisation and administrative skills with ability to prioritise and produce resultsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and in a competent and professional mannerExcellent attention to detailStrong problem solvingProficient in Excel and OutlookKnowledge of Oracle an advantage but not essentialIdeally from small to medium size enterprise in industryHospitality experience an advantageBehavioursA versatile team playerWillingness to take responsibility and be flexible and show initiativeWhat the role includesRetail Revenue RecordingReview, reconcile and post daily retail revenueEnsure daily income sheets are completed by Operations staff in accordance with internal control proceduresLiaise with Operations staff to resolve issues/discrepanciesProvide accounting support for Operations staffOther Revenue RecordingPrepare calculations for various fees and other revenuesCompile and maintain backup reports for samePrepare monthly invoices to clear down accrued revenuesAccrualsPrepare and post monthly accruals schedulesTrack and record invoicing to clear down monthly accrualsLiaise with Operations staff on appropriate amounts and follow up on discrepanciesAccounts Receivable & BankingAllocate receipts to the AR ledgerProvide cover for AR invoicing as neededProvide cover for Banking as neededManagement and statutory accountingPost general ledger journalsPrepare balance sheet reconciliationsTrack actual revenues and costs versus forecastAssist with Statutory and internal auditsAssist with monthly forecasts and annual budgetsReportingPreparation of data for weekly reporting; ensuring data is accurate and can be used for reporting purposesGeneral AdministrationGeneral data entry, filing and miscellaneous adminOther ad hoc duties as requiredProvide cover in other areas of the Finance function, AP, AR, Payroll etc.Equal OpportunitiesWe are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
