Job Summary:The Junior Marketer will provide day-to-day support to the Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Director and overall Casino’s Division with heavy emphasis on development into Associate Marketing Manager. This position will support the Senior Marketing Manager daily to promote concerts/events in the most effective manner possible to satisfy client needs, promote ticket sales and track advertising placement and expense.Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day support to Senior Marketing Manager on executing and maintaining marketing plans, including strategy, budgeting, paid media and promotions at client properties in various markets across North America; this will include artist research and acquiring/ordering/proofing/trafficking advertising materialsCreating and maintaining various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual show performance trackers and recapsParticipation in scheduled and daily client interaction, weekly conference calls and meetingsWork with band management/publicist to obtain approval for press requests such as phoners, in studio appearances, photo passes, etc. for each showManage print, billboard, digital banner jobs with client management workflow systemsManage website builds and updates including copywriting and image placement with client management workflow systemsWork with clients on copywriting for press releases, social media ads/posts/giveaways/content, street team campaigns, and ticket giveawaysManage Senior Marketing Manager’s calls and messages in a professional and organized wayResearch and keep up-to-date with assigned areas’ relevant events/concerts, media outlets, websites, blogs, radio stations, radio playlists, and demographicsInternal teamwork, meetings, recapping and strategyProvide general administrative support – organizing show files, budgets, ticket counts, calendar management, mail, invoices, etc.)Other duties and projects as assigned Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or professional experience equivalentExperience in marketing, advertising, communications and digital advertising preferredPassionate about the music industry, including extensive knowledge of national music scene and artists in order to provide solid supportExcellent verbal and written communication skills; good telephone skills; good listening skills; share information appropriately, with tact and diplomacyExperience with client management preferred Provide exceptional customer-service to clients Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook Proficient in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)Detail oriented and able to perform job accurately and thoroughly Reliability – able to see tasks, ideas or projects through, from start to finish, as well as meet deadlines and budgets Good time management skillsOutstanding planning and organization skills – use organized approach to job responsibilities and able to multi-task and set prioritiesCreativity – use independent and original thought and initiative to improve processes or solve problemsAbility to thrive in a high-demand, fast-paced environment Ability to be flexible, adjust to changing conditions and constraints in order to meet goalsPositive attitude – engage in work and be open and approachableTeamworkAbility to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsC3 Core Competencies: Demonstrate integrity in the way you operate in day-to-day business and the way you deal with peopleCommunicate effectively with various audiences by organizing and delivering information appropriately and listening actively to othersProactively seek solutions to problems.
