Ready to be a Titan?We are seeking a diligent, adaptable Business Systems Analyst to join our organization. You will work closely with customers, business users and information technology team to understand and analyze business processes, then translate business needs into IT requirements. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background including an understanding of ETL mapping, SQL, reporting, and creating technical documentation. In addition, the ideal candidate will have very strong analytical and critical thinking skills, as applied to varied reporting solutions. What you'll do: Work with the customers, business users and product managers to accurately capture all stakeholder requests and data flows and translate them into system specifications which typically include functional, non-functional, user interface, reports and external interface specifications.Develop and maintain documentation including refined business requirements and use cases to ensure they are clear, concise and traceable.Interface with customers to resolve data issues including looking into current software and interpreting relationships to ServiceTitan’s data structure.Collaborates with IT management to define and develop documentation & business analysis artifact standards, guidelines, processes, and templates.Work with Data Engineers to ensure that the engineering realization is in accordance with the business specification.Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems.Manages requirements risks by proactively tracking and communicating issues, and devising methods to mitigating them.Provide project management support for system development or enhancement projects.Working with IT Manager, help conduct business process reengineering to align the needs of business units with the capabilities of IT.Train end users or technical support staff to use new or modified systems.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailFamiliarity with data analysis tools and methodologiesWhat you'll need:Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.Demonstrated experience in project management, systems analysis, and information systems design.ETL Mapping, SQL Query and Database knowledge required.Ability to work effectively within a team environment with tight deadlines and high expectationsKnowledge of IT standards and methodologies such as Agile or WaterfallPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in the Trades industry C# and/or Python experience is a large plusCertifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA).Proficient in the use of project and process management tools.Experience with ERP, CRM, and/or other large-scale IT systems.Key Competencies:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to extensively analyze business processes and workflows.Ability to manage multiple priorities and assess the urgency and importance of work.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Ability to effectively interface with technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels.Be Human With Us:Being human isn’t about checking every box on a list. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role is between $70,000 - $101,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
