Job Title: MTS 1-2 Software Engineer - Marketing TechJob Description:The eBay China Center of Excellence (CCOE) is actively seeking experienced software professionals to join our Marketing Tech team. Our team is responsible for developing applications related to Paid Internet Marketing, with the goal of driving traffic to eBay through targeted ads and recommendations on platforms such as Google, Facebook, and other third-party websites. Our mission is to attract new users and increase conversion rates for eBay purchases.Our Performance Marketing Platform offers the flexibility to create and manage ad campaigns, develop bidding strategies, and target specific audiences. Our Big-data Platform, which includes tools such as Feeds and the Marketing Inventory Store, is designed to drive high-quality traffic to eBay. In addition, we are constantly exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies such as MLOps, Recommendations, and Personalization to enhance our tools and capabilities.As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects at the forefront of technology and make a significant impact on our business.The detail responsibilities will include:Collaborating with specialists, development managers, architects, and product managers to design and develop systems that meet our marketing needs while considering performance, scalability, reliability, and quality during the design and coding process.Identifying and addressing problems while working effectively as part of a team.Understanding business logic and developing technical solutions to support our business objectives.Job Requirements:A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.6-10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3-7+ years of experience in Java programming.Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and basic design patterns.Ambition and excellent problem-solving skills.The ability to learn quickly and work effectively as part of a team.Familiarity with distributed systems and big data projects such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.Strong English writing and speaking skills.Experience contributing to open-source projects is a significant plus.Experience working in a multinational company is a plus.Experience with Spring/React/NodeJS is a plus.We are looking for talented individuals who are passionate about their work and eager to contribute to our team.
