With real-time cases grows rabidly, we are building next generation SQL based data processing platform to fasten the speed of real-time data process and transformation, enabling fully intelligent and automatic scale up/down capabilities, evolving for all Kafka/Flink operations and troubleshooting to self-service and self-adjustment, ensure fault tolerance for unexpected scenarios, and provide solutions for Kafka/Flink exceptional performanceThis position is a very senior individual contributor role in our Rheos team, You will be part of shaping the direction of our data stream processing platform. Successful candidates will be extremely accomplished architects and implementers who are recognized technical leaders and strategists in their previous roles, and have developed successful real-time data processing platforms for mission critical business use cases.Job ResponsibilitiesArchitect, design and implement the highly available, always reliable, cloud native streaming platform, enabling users to easily build near real-time applications and data analytics solutions.Drive critical technical initiatives and roadmap on real-time platform’s availability, reliability, scalability, architectural direction, and major component refactor for engineering excellence.Troubleshoot Kafka & Flink issues with deep insights. Capable of transferring into self-service features to help users to resolve it quickly.End-to-end responsibility (architect, design, implement, testing, document and customer adoption) , providing solid solutions to resolve stream processing problems.Lead and coordinate across developers and teams to deliver key results.Job RequirementsMinimum of 8 years of architecting and engineering experience in the industryMinimum of 5 years of building real-time & stream processing platformDeep understanding of Apache Kafka & Flink, PMC or committer is preferred.Expert in Java, SQL, kubernetes and big data tech stack (Hadoop, Spark).Hands on experience working with Agile teamsExcellent communication, presentation and relationship skills.Fluent English and Mandarin, being able to coordinate and negotiate in EnglishDisclaimer: Please note that by applying to this role, you are agreeing to be considered for multiple positions.
