If you’re interested in joining a purpose driven community that is dedicated to crafting an ambitious and inclusive work environment, join eBay – a company you can be proud to be with.Job DescriptionSupport indirect tax monthly compliance functions for North American taxing jurisdictionsAssist the North American Indirect Tax team with gathering and analyzing large data sets and other audit support documentationSupport the implementation, maintenance, and administration of various indirect tax systemsPerform reconciliations between ERPs, tax engines, and other financial recordsPerform ad-hoc tax technical researchProvide timely support related to external customers’ tax disputesWork on multiple deliverables and projects as assignedCollaborate and coordinate with various business resources, other tax functions, and external tax advisorsRequirements:Capable of working independently while acting as part of a global tax teamMust be familiar with indirect tax engines and able to partner with the tax technology team for tax assist rules and process change requestsExperience with U.S. sales & use taxes is required, knowledge of Canadian GST and additional global VAT systems a plusStrong issue identification and mitigation skillsAbility to articulate complex concepts in a concise manner both written and verballyProficiency with Excel, Microsoft Office, and tax research engines requiredExperience with SharePoint, Tableau, Alteryx and other data wrangling tools preferredExperience with financial reporting systems such as SAP, JDE is preferredBasic Qualifications:3-5 years of related indirect tax experience. Big 4 experience a plusBachelor’s degree or equivalent with emphasis in Finance, Information Systems, or Accounting.
