Primarily, these are export markets, but with emerging domestic businesses also.The role:The Business Development Manager will be a pivotal member of our EU Seller Team. Based in Ireland, this role will play a crucial role in our team's success by focusing on seller acquisition - with a key emphasis on Spain followed by the Netherlands.You will be defining and implementing initiatives to acquire new sellers. Your role will touch diverse range of teams across the organisation, including Finance, Marketing, Customer Service and Trading and Seller Management teams from other markets.This role requires a self-starter and organised individual with the willingness to focus and commit to achieve results! This can include speaking publicly in front of large audiences, moderating panels, 1:1 interactions or others.Working with Marketing teams to define channel strategy for seller acquisition, build relevant content and materials, measure results and identify and implement improvement opportunitiesWorking with Finance to align on budget requirements, reporting, as well as accounting and invoicing supportEnsure clear event planning, execution and reporting, with clarity along the process and measurable goals.Supporting onboarding and commercial teams in seller onboarding and managementAbout you:Fluent in Spanish. Dutch and/or Polish proficiency is advantageous.Relevant experience: 3-5 years of sales, new business acquisition or business development.Retail/ ecommerce experience and experience or passion in car parts & accessories or home & garden advantageous.Have experience coordinating events and attended plenty of trade shows or similar as a speakerSelf-directed work style with minimum supervisionAbility to plan ahead, prioritize, clear about goals, objectives and how to get thereAbility and willingness to travel as neededHave excellent communication and time management skills and have shown that can work well independently and in a team.Benefits:Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
