This role will support those efforts in our large and sought after Parts & Accessories (P&A) business with a focus on Motorcycle and Powersports. eBay has one of the largest range of P&A inventory in the world. This category is a major priority for eBay and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to help drive this business to the next level.The Category Manager will support our existing sellers and source new sellers ensuring their successful transition on the platform for long term sustainable growth. The focus will be on the Motorcycle and Powersport business across our domestic (Canadian to Canadian) business as well as imports and exports with key markets such as the US. The role reports into the Head of eBay Motors and will be a key member of the Verticals team.ResponsibilitiesManage the P&A Motorcycle and Powersport business for Canada and collaborate with eBay global markets to grow the categoryLead business development efforts with top brands, distributors and Dealers, support onboarding/integration, develop positive relationships to support their sustainable growth on eBay and deliver an elevated buyer experienceBuild relationships and work cross-functionally with other Canadian and Global teams (Marketing, Comms, Shipping, Product, Customer Service) to achieve resultsMonitor key performance metrics (gross merchandise volume, pricing, inventory, discoverability, customer satisfaction, etc.) and react to drive businessWork closely with the US P&A teams and our International partners to leverage initiativesSupport campaigns to acquire and develop loyalty amongst enthusiasts, both onsite and offsiteCapture feedback from enthusiasts and work collaboratively with product and operations teams to prioritize, design, test and launch new featuresWhat you need to succeed:3-5 years of relevant experience with growing responsibility in Business Development, Merchandising, Buying, Category Management/Account Management in an online retail or marketplace environmentPrior experience within the Motorcycle/Powersports/Automotive/Parts & Accessories industry is an assetStrong written and verbal English communication skills; French fluency desirableStrong organizational skills and attention to detailA self-starter that is comfortable navigating ambiguity to achieve the category objectivesExpert in MS-Excel and fluency with MS-Office and SQLBachelor's degree required; MBA preferredExperience in buying and selling on eBay an assetBenefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
