You will craft, plan and implement financial forecasts to support our Payments business. We seek a team member to derive insights and make recommendations to improve key payment functions. You will partner with teams across eBay to support planning, business development, and strategy activities in eBay's Payments business.Job Duties:Support the design, planning and execution of methodologies to quantify, forecast and report on the business in an accurate and timely manner using SQL, Tableau, Hive/Spark.Own forecasting, reporting and reconciliation for non ‘Form of Payment’ costs.Partnering with key cross-functional teams to support business development and strategy initiatives by developing robust financial models to support new business initiatives.Support end to end analytical and financial view on Cost of Payments for business executives.Research, analyze and translate economic and business trends to provide key data on business performance and investment opportunities.Conduct Analytical deep dives to understand key drivers of performance and forecast expectations and provide recommendations and risks to business partners.Partner cross functionally with business, product, engineering, finance and analytics teams to identify optimization opportunities of payment capabilities and drive initiatives to meet goals.Facilitate informed business decisions by trend and variance analysis of Interchange and Scheme Fees published by Card Networks.Help finance and accounting partners in financial bookings for monthly financial close, accurate financial reporting of expenses and managing targets.Key Skills:Analytical thinking: exceptional quantitative analytical & data management skillsRelationship building: partner with cross-functional teams and become a go-to thought partner for key decision makersResults orientation: biased toward action, phenomenal collaborator, constantly pushing toward clarity and deliveryGreat teammate: thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable managing uncertaintyStrong communication and partnership skills.
