The Executive Assistant to eBay’s SVP and Chief Legal Officer and will partner and manage strategic support in a fast-paced company. This Executive Assistant will need to be an energetic, organized, proactive and detail-oriented individual. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs as well as offer solutions while being team-oriented, highly collaborative and maintaining professionalism, confidentiality and calm.This high visibility role will also work closely with our Board of Directors, the Executive Leadership Team, and their supporting C-level Executive Assistants. With this, it requires agility, ability to move quickly and real-time, independent judgment. This role also supports our VP, Deputy General Counsel of Corp, M&A and Securities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage the GC’s and VP’s internal and external calendars, using insight, decision making, and prioritization skills. Prepare and manage confidential information, maintaining good practice with integrity.Supporting and assisting with Board of Director and Board Committees, including scheduling meetings, arranging for Board of Director travel and accommodations, supporting the preparation and posting on board portal of documents for the Board and other duties, as neededHelp to plan, attend and manage logistics for events such as offsites (which can occasionally be outside of the Bay Area), site-visits, and executive team events.Coordinate all travel arrangements and accommodations for the GC and VP, arranging complex and detailed domestic and international travel plans, itineraries, and agendas.Create and submit expense reports and compiling receipts for reimbursement.Support the GC and VP in meetings, managing any action items that follow.Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external partners on all matters pertaining to the GC and VP, including those of a highly confidential, personal, or critical nature.Partner with the Communications team to plan and execute key messages.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Demonstrated executive admin C-suite experience and exposure, ideally for a CLO/GCGreat team player with outstanding interpersonal skills, sound judgment, discretion, calm demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional verbal/written communication and project management skills, including an ability to communicate effectively at an executive level.Ability to prioritize work and trade-offs against critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.An eye for detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive issues and tasks to completion.Strong technical skills: proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Slack, Excel, PowerPoint; preferably experience with board portalsAbility to handle confidential information with discretion, subtlety and tact.Extremely organized with exceptional follow through.Ability to create and maintain trusting effective relationships.Ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels.LOCATION: San Jose, CA. In the office on average 3 days a week, depending on work and travel schedules. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range below.$68,000 - $135,850Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
