eBay, Inc. seeks Data Scientist 1 in New York, NY Job Duties: Design, implement and deploy Machine Learning technologies into reliable and scalable services. Monitor and ensure life cycle maintenance of Machine Learning models and services. Estimate engineering effort, plan feature implementations, and rollout complex RESTful services. Solve complex technical challenges of scale and performance. Design code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes.Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.Special Skill Requirements:Java Python Hadoop Spark Machine Learning Modeling and Engineering SQL Big Data Technologies Data Structure and Algorithms Statistics Advanced Mathematics Linear AlgebraBase Salary: $102,482.00 - $176,550.00 per annum. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
