Our responsibilities include all aspects of the region including operations in the US, Canada and Latin America.We are looking for an Associate Category Manager, Watches to join our Verticals team at eBay. Based in San Jose, CA, you will be a key leader on the Watches team at eBay North America. Not required, but would be phenomenal if you also have a passion for, or some knowledge of, the Watches market especially for Luxury Watches.The OpportunityThe role is to help define the Watches category strategy and implement through working with strategically important sellers, buyers and industry specialists to ensure that eBay has the inventory and end-to-end experience to grow the business. As an Associate Category Manager of Verticals, you will be accountable for the success of your categories.Key responsibilities:Own the end-to-end research, planning and execution of strategic category initiatives which roll into the overall category and luxury division goalsLead vertical, horizontal, cultural, and unique community execution as it relates to the Watches category and our customersBe data-driven and monitor metrics within the business (pricing, inventory, discoverability, gross merchandise volume, etc.) and inform business decisions from these insightsRun analysis applying internal dashboards and reviewing data points in excel. Translate findings to PowerPoint to present overall story to leadershipLiaison and cross-functional partner across multiple groups for major initiatives focusing primarily on marketing campaigns, owning incentive strategy and execution and competitor insightsCoordinating all live commerce scheduling, logistics, support and promotion for watch brands and sellersResponsible for all aspects related to event planning for tradeshows, activations and collector meet-ups including hotel, staffing, catering, booth design, swag, etc.Preferred Qualifications:College degree or equivalent experienceExperience in watches or the luxury watches space and/or relationships with key industry players.3-5 years of proven experience with an e-commerce luxury or fashion-oriented company.Execution-driven, growth-oriented, ownership mentality to drive performance against agreed critical metricsDeep insight into the digital sectorAbility to lead groups of individuals optimally and mange cross-functional coordinationExperience influencing & negotiating with external partnersExecutive-level presentation and communication skillsBenefits:Benefits are an essential part of your total compensation for the work you do every day.
