Role : VP– Pricing StrategyLocation : North AmericaOverview:VP, Pricing Strategy will primarily be responsible for leading the definition, management and delivery to implement an overarching strategy that transforms and simplifies Blue Yonder’s pricing structure while aligning to SaaS principles with a particular emphasis on value-based pricing.Scope:You must be able to represent and speak to senior business leaders and stakeholders to ensure we are delivering strategic value across the overall program. In addition, you must be able to drive the overall strategy, planning and execution of key initiatives. You will demonstrate expertise in key SaaS-related processes such as offer management, pricing, defining value propositions and messaging. You will collaborate with senior leaders and lead them through the transformation.What you’ll do:Lead the transformation and drive the pricing discipline across the entire product portfolio.Develop pricing proposals for new products and refine pricing for existing products based on customer, field, internal deal data and qualitative and quantitative market research.Work with leaders in Product Management Group, Sales, Industry Strategy, and the Commercial Excellence team to understand the value customers derive from using BY solutionsProvide thought leadership to the Product Management Group in designing pricing strategiesDrive projects related to price points and tier differentiation for new and current products and customer segmentsCollaborate with data and business intelligence teams on dashboards and reportingCollaborate with Cloud Cost Optimization and the Cloud Services to build accurate cost modelsMonitor and report on KPIs associated with pricing changesPresent pricing recommendations to the Pricing Approval CommitteeFacilitate Pricing Approval Committee meetings and capture / record all gatekeeper approvalsCollaborate with team members from Product Marketing, Product Management and Enablement to ensure completion of all offer readiness deliverablesSupport the Product Management Group and others with ad-hoc analysis• Planning & StrategyOversee business aspects of SaaS pricing by providing senior guidance in the constructing of teams, charters, project plans, contingencies, success metrics and ROI measurementsInfluence strategy improvements with business executivesWork cross-functionally to establish and manage appropriate team structure for successful delivery across organizations.• Project ExecutionManage all phases to success, including initiation, planning, definition, design, development, testing and deploymentDrive definition of pricing solution concepts in partnership with Sales constituents and ITAlign program with other BY initiatives and manage cross project dependenciesDrive cross functional implementation of policies and procedures• Change Management & CommunicationsFacilitate change management and communication planning activitiesDrive regular forums to update business communities on progress, status and issues• Risk/Issue ManagementForesee, manage, and raise appropriate visibility to risks and issues.Drive resolution of any conflicts and escalate as needed to avoid roadblocksWhat we are looking for:Track record of driving pricing transformationBachelor’s degreeAt least 5 years’ experience of value-based pricing of commercial software, preferably Software as a ServicePrior experience of consumption based pricingExtensive Excel experienceStrong attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsGreat interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with senior leaders*LI-KC1-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is $175,230.00 - $267,300.00.The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
