The Development and Support Services (DSS) team within Blue Yonder operates globally with over 150 team members in the US, India, UK, Belgium, and Bulgaria. We are seeking a Sr Development Lead, with strong development best practice experience, to provide responsive line and development process management. They will lead a global team of Development and Support Services technical leads, architects, and engineers for a marquee BY WMS customer. ScopeCreate value-driven development solutions to satisfy customer gaps as extensions/ customizationsProvide development support for modified code and porting core product fixesStay Current – review non-BY development and assume ownership for support and upgradesWhat you’ll doAccountable for delivery of development undertaken by engineers within the individual teams; including Delivery planning, quality of delivery, timeliness of delivery, creation of correct documentation, and conformance to best practicesCreation and tracking of development management dashboards, reports, or other tools to assist in the management or development metric trackingProvide responsive leadership support and guidance to teams including activities such as holding team meetings, demos and mentoring on areas of improvement and strengths with associatesServe as an escalation point for development teams and customers. Assist in sensitive customer relationship discussions or action plan decisions and messagingFacilitate resolution of scheduling conflicts and issues caused by unexpected workload or impediments. Work with the leads to ensure teams have work plans and are evenly distributed for the work in the development queuePrioritize with leadership for conflicts as necessaryAbility to create JIRA dashboard, queries/ tools beneficial for management of development teamsEnsure teams are able to de-construct high level requirements and use cases into storiesPerform reviews of support resolutions, configurations, code, and documentation produced by the teams by exception (Note: this is not a full-time architect or engineering role)What we are looking for8+ years of experience working with development in enterprise level software solutionsminimum 3 years’ experience in WMS application developmentExperience leading larger or multiple development/ project teamsWorking Knowledge of SAFe Agile frameworksProficiency in JIRA or similar Agile lifecycle toolsSolid understanding of and demonstrated hands-on experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence, visualization tools (Lucid Charts, Visio), Office Suite, SharePoint and Microsoft TeamsBachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or demonstrated equivalent experienceAdditional SkillsMust be a self-starter, motivated individual who works well under pressureAbility to multi-task, prioritize and coordinate tasks to meet multiple deadlinesAbility to drive collaboration with engineers, managers, and techno-functional teams to achieve resultsOutgoing and comfortable building cross-functional relationshipsEffective communication skills with all levels of managementFlexible and resilient, comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable to a high-change environment and open to new concepts and/or processesConflict resolution and negotiations skills to resolve disagreements quickly and effectively, bringing a problem-solving attitude to conflicting approaches and priorities involving others*LI-AD1#LI-remote-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is $117,075.00 - $147,625.00The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
