Job Description: Product Development (PD) Project Manager - Transportation PlanningLocation : Dallas, TX ( Hybrid role, in office required, NO Remote)Overview: Blue Yonder, a leading supply chain software company, is seeking a skilled and motivated Product Development Project Manager to lead initiatives for Blue Yonder’s Transportation Planning product. As a PD Project Manager, you will drive innovation, collaborate with top talent, and contribute to the success of Blue Yonder's Transportation Planning product. As a PD Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the development and enhancement of our cutting-edge Transportation Planning solutions, ensuring they align with customer needs and industry standards.Responsibilities:Lead and manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle for Blue Yonder's Transportation Planning product.Collaborate closely with product managers, operations research scientists, and development teams to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.Create and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress, milestones, and deadlines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Champion the Agile development process and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the development team.Facilitate sprint ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, to drive efficiency and transparency.Utilize JIRA and other project management tools effectively to track and manage tasks, issues, and risks throughout the project lifecycle.Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and timely resolution of dependencies.Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management, highlighting accomplishments, risks, and mitigation plans.Ensure the successful deployment of Transportation Planning product features in cloud applications, driving scalability and reliability.Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure thorough testing and validation of product features and functionality.Collaborate with Ops Research and Machine Learning teams to integrate advanced algorithms and optimizations into the Transportation Planning product.Tech Stack:Agile process and methodologiesJIRA and other project management toolsCloud Applications (e.g., AWS, Azure)Programming languages: C++, PythonOptimization libraries: CPLEX, Gurobi, SCIPOperations Research and mathematical modelingMachine Learning frameworks: TensorFlow, scikit-learnQualifications:Proven experience as a Project Manager in software product development, particularly in the supply chain or transportation domain.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience leading development teams using Agile practices.Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA to effectively plan, track, and manage development projects.Knowledge of cloud applications and experience in deploying and managing software solutions in cloud environments.Experience with programming languages like C++ and Python for software development.Understanding of optimization libraries like CPLEX, Gurobi, or SCIP and their application in transportation planning.Knowledge of Operations Research and mathematical modeling techniques to drive optimization solutions.Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks like TensorFlow and scikit-learn for data analysis and decision-making.Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.*LI-SR1-------------------------------------------The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
