Position Title: VP, Product Development - Engineering leaderLocation :  Dallas, TX, ( Coppell office) ( Hybrid - in office presence required, NO Remote)Overview: The VP, Product Development for Blue Yonder's Transportation Planning Solutions will lead the technology and delivery of our products in a SaaS model,         driving innovation and value for our 300+ and expanding TMS Global customers in this  increasingly competitive software market segment. Oversees product development teams design, execution and operational sequencing of products from concept to customer, meeting all "Go-To-Market" milestones while meeting profitability, customer service, speed-to-market, and quality and compliance requirements.Plays a vital role in managing relationships with outside constituencies.Searches the marketplace for innovative new product ideas and trends aligned with corporate, monitor and adapt annual strategic business plan and growth strategy.Works closely with other members of executive team to develop, implementHas overall responsibility for the planning and delivery across a broad set of projects, potentially for a whole product suite. This includes all aspects of the project, from initial planning to final delivery. Manages the project teams associated with the project, including recruiting and managing resources for the project, as well as coaching and mentoring members of the team to progress on their career paths. Coordinates with key constituents outside of PD including PMG, Sales, Support, Services, and customers, and also participates in more strategic planning of project evolution in alignment with overall PD and corporate goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technology and Supply Chain Execution expertise with the ability to apply emerging technologies to deliver to our vision of the autonomous supply chain What will you do? Strategy/Vision/ Plan: Responsible for leading the technology and engineering teams in the products to deliver to the BY vision Drive the strategic technology direction of the roadmap Manage all aspects of the product development lifecycle from strategy, planning, design, development, launch, and maturation Identify and drive new opportunities for growth including new products, technologies, innovations, and partnerships Analyze and recommend build vs buy vs partner strategies to grow the business Provide leadership to ensure success in executing against vision, strategy, and plans Execute/Deliver: Deliver to a roadmap that strengthens and grows Blue Yonder’s market share of execution market Develop appropriate processes and roadmaps including technology, hiring plans, training requirements, and staffing Responsible for complete end-to-end project management including release planning, delivery, monitoring progress, and reporting Drive consensus across multiple inputs to a common goal and make decisions Engage actively with global customers to establish partnerships, address issues, support implementations, communicate vision and direction, and engage in joint roadmap planning Identify, drive, manage and engage with potential partnerships spanning technology, data, sales, and consulting companies Inspire/Evangelize: Build and grow highly skilled, cross-functional engineering teams across the globe Communicate strategic technology direction and roadmap internally and externally Support key, strategic customer engagements and adoption of new innovations Foster a customer-first culture where customer success is at the center of all strategies and decisions Responsible for leading, managing, developing, coaching, and mentoring a global team Promote professional growth and learning for team members by facilitating access to training and conferences We’d like you to have: Min of 5 yrs plus years of Global leadership experience in product engineering, (Planning/Execution) and relevant industry (Retail/Manufacturing) – with proven track record of successOverall 15+ years of experience in product development and engineering in a Global setting.Understanding of relevant supply chain data, correlation with supply chain processes and supply chain software solutionsDemonstrable experience in SaaS /Product development and delivery (preferably for Transportation Management, Automation, Micro Fulfillment segments) Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Business or equivalent Experience managing budgets and forecasts with ability to make trade-offs according to priorities Strong communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal Strong collaboration skills, driving many different people and departments to align to common goals and vision; ability to build consensus across disparate teams Results driven; resourceful and able to manage shifting priorities Effective balance of strategic thinking and detail oriented Ability to motivate a large, global organization Identifies with Blue Yonder’s core values of relentless, results and teamwork *LI-SR1-------------------------------------------The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
