Director, Security Architecture & Engineering

We are looking for a hands-on senior leader with extensive Security Architecture and Engineering experience to develop our security Architecture and Engineering program strategy and oversee implementation reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer.Define, develop, implement and maintain the ongoing security initiatives across all areas of the enterprise security such as: Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network and Infrastructure Security, Data Security, IT applications Security, AI/ML Security, Email Security, Mobile Security, and professional services, delivering a world-class and visionary approach that will enable a distinctive competitive advantage for the future.We are in search of a people leader with proven experience developing and managing teams, as well as an excellent communicator with customers, stakeholders, executives and regulators. This individual will have strong operational knowledge of the security tool (and vendor) landscape and a track record of optimizing and automating processes to achieve measurable efficiency and accuracy gains with metrics/KPI is required.  Responsibilities :Develop an architectural & engineering current state, strategy, and implementation plan. Then work across Blue Yonder to execute that plan.Be a thought leader and provide subject matter expertise in the company for Security technical and administrative (architecture + engineering) controls implementation with knowledge of current threat landscapeEngage with executive level leaders and customers to create and present Security Architecture & Engineering program overviews, major initiatives status and roadmapsLead global security architecture & engineering projects including creating strategy and directing execution through a global team of Security Architects and EngineersLead the Cloud Security program initiatives for Blue Yonder’s AWS/Azure/GCP cloud instances and resourcesLead Infrastructure and network security program initiatives for Blue Yonder’s customer and internal networksBuild the Identity & Access Management program across Blue YonderBuild the AI/ML Security program from ground up for Blue Yonder’s AI/ML initiativesImplement security metrics and reporting framework to measure efficiency and effectiveness of the program/tools, facilitate resource allocation, and increase the maturityFacilitate a metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the program, facilitate appropriate resource allocation, and increase the maturity of the securityLead secure design and architecture review processes, strong understanding of threat modelingDesign and implement security processes to support security architecture and engineering using best-in-class security engineering principles; experience with the MITRE framework is a plus Own evaluation, implementation, optimization, configuration for various security tools across IAM, Network & Infrastructure security (IDS/IPS, WAF, NDR, Firewall Management), Cloud security, Data security, Mobile security, etc.Ensure open interfaces for overall program activities; alignment & improvementsAny unforeseen projects managementKnowledge and Skills :Strong understanding of security architecture and engineering conceptsExpert experience with security metrics and measurements and process automationUnderstand what it means to “think like a hacker” and take the attacker viewpoint to design security controlsExperience with operating, configuring security tools such as Cloud Security, Network Security Monitoring, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Web Application Firewall, Firewall Management, Email Security, Data Security, and IT Applications SecurityFamiliarity with cyber security monitoring, detection, incident response and investigations using MITRE TTPsRequired Experience :10+ years of relevant security architecture and engineering experience 5+ years of leadership experience leading global remote teamsCISSP or equivalent certification; or computer science related educationKey Differentiator :Strong communicator who can partner internationally with senior security and cross-functional team members High EQ and Empathy for team members, peers, and customers Has recently led Security Architecture and Engineering teams Owner mindset who takes initiatives with strong conviction *LI-KC1-------------------------------------------The salary range for this position is: USD $125,600.00 - $191,600.00.The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.At Blue Yonder, we care about the wellbeing of our employees and those most important to them.
