Staff Accountant

Description Docyt, a FinTech startup, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its team. Docyt revolutionizes the accounting tech stack by providing a super app that digitizes financial data, automates income and expense workflows, reconciles Quickbooks®, and generates real-time financial statements. This technology gives businesses control of their financial data, providing them with a complete, accurate, and up-to-date picture of their finances, which enables them to make timely and smart decisions, driving their business growth. The Staff Accountant will play a critical role in supporting Docyt's growth by performing accounting tasks and supporting the company's overall financial operations. Responsibilities This will be a customer-facing role, must possess strong communication skills Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely payment to vendors and reconciling discrepancies Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly financial statements Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to support strategic decisions Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries Handle daily accounting functions, including accounts receivable, cash management, and general ledger transactions Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and processes
