About the team:
As a Manager, Claims with Turo, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting Turo’s mission to put the world's 1.5B cars to better use. This role will provide leadership direction, oversight, and development opportunities for our Claims Associates and Supervisors.
What you will do:
Provide leadership, coaching and performance management of assigned claim supervisors, who manage claim associates
Strong skills developing leaders, driving results and managing change
Assess and analyzing customer interactions with our vendors to ensure best in class service experience
Develop robust reporting and measurement methods to measure and monitor your team's performance, addressing any performance issues proactively with the team.
Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives
Identifying potential problems and points of friction and working to find solutions in order to maximize efficiency and accuracy
Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting via claims vendors
Lead special projects, change initiatives or other activities
Work closely with our QA, Recruiting and Training teams
Co-own the leadership and management of outsourced providers with both claims and customer service teams
Your profile:
3+ years of claims leadership experience, will possess strong leadership and technical skills
Preferred experience in leading leaders
You will exhibit a strong sense of ownership and initiative to solve problems, forge new paths and to innovate.
You will be analytical and able to both analyze data and communicate effectively your findings and recommendations to both your team and executive management
You will be a team player, who loves collaborating with other parts of the business, is responsive, supportive and loves change. You are a pioneer at heart and have a strong desire to be part of a company changing the world
The Phoenix base salary target range for this full-time position is $100,000-$148,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in Phoenix. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
