Our Authentication Centers (warehouses) are where the magic happens! The Art & Science of Real comes to life within our facilities located in New Jersey and Arizona — combining the knowledge of hundreds of luxury experts with cutting-edge, proprietary technology. As an Assistant Manager, Specialist Categories, you will drive the business forward by overseeing the development of the Fine Jewelry & Watch (FJW) Authentication teams, in partnership with other department leaders. What You Get To Do Everyday
Lead and develop a team of approximately 10-15 people
Partner with the management team to develop and drive business strategies that will improve production and department results
Communicate and report out on team’s daily performance
Conduct both formal and informal feedback conversations to support individual growth and development
Ensure ramp up goals are met weekly for new hires and Authenticators being cross trained
Partner with department leadership to address training and development opportunities within the team
Drive team KPI’s and team engagement while running the floor
Communicate company initiatives and critical messages to the Authentication team
Act as a brand ambassador and advocate for TheRealReal
What You Bring To The Role
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of managing a team, ideally in a warehouse or retail environment
Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive team culture. Adheres to all policies and procedures at TheRealReal
Strong business acumen and ability to align work with company goals.
Drive to achieve results both individually and as a team
Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor communication style to suit the target audience; executive presence
Adaptability and openness to feedback and change
A growth mindset with a solutions focus

Bachelor’s degree
The expected salary range for this role is $66,753 to $74,949. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.
