The opportunity
We are looking for a creative Content Marketing Manager to own our social media + video + webinar strategy here at ngrok. This role will be a blend of strategy and execution responsible for creating high-quality video and social media content, owning our social media calendar, and engaging directly with our audience. The ideal candidate will have a background marketing to developers, DevOps or platform ops personas, with a passion for social media and video content.
Responsibilities
Create the social media strategy and build our presence on all social media platforms, including our YouTube and video strategy.
Own and manage the webinar program for the company, with consistent high-quality execution coupled with experimentation for finding what resonates best
Work with internal and external vendor teams to develop and publish high-quality social media and video content: from explainer videos to live events
Manage all social media channels: creating and managing our presence on popular platforms, creating and posting content on a consistent schedule, and using a channel-fluent voice and tone that builds enthusiasm and connection to ngrok fans
Develop a media calendar and manage social media moderation and vendors
Measure and report on the program results with focus on our SLAs, engagement quality, and growth
Skills
5+ years of content marketing / social media management experience with a track record of successful social media campaigns
A deep understanding of the developer, IT, and DevOps personas and technical audiences
Advanced knowledge of Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, and Reddit
Experience with moderating, engaging, and cultivating strong advocacy within community social platforms
Proficiency in social media/marketing tools and content creation tools
Experience creating video content across multiple platforms

Compensation for this role depends on level, but we provide a competitive mix of salary and equity.
We provide a 401(k) with a 100% match up to 3% of your salary and a 50% match up to another 2%.
We provide healthcare, dental, and vision with premiums fully covered on the base plan for employees. Half of premiums are covered for dependents. We also include long term disability, short term disability, and a term life policy at no cost to employees.
We offer unlimited PTO and a culture in which the overwhelming majority of employees take more than four weeks. Your manager will ensure you do the same.
