About the Role:
The Director, HRIS is responsible for leading our HRIS team. This position will play a lead role in the development, implementation, management, support and maintenance of Upgrade’s HRIS. The job will report to the Chief Financial Officer who also leads People Operations at the Company. This will be a senior level individual contributor role with high visibility and responsibility, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable with not only rolling up their sleeves but also with communicating across a diverse set of stakeholders including the senior most executives at the company.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the development, implementation, management, support and maintenance of Upgrade’s people systems and processes
Partner with People Operations team and business leaders to manage and prioritize roadmap for Workday
Establish integrations across systems are functional and optimized for business processes
Analyze the impact of development initiatives and define key metrics for success
Partner with the product and technology organization to ensure information security standards and protocols in the company’s systems
What We Look For:
10+ years of HR systems experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday configurations and applications
Experience with HR systems for large operations teams with a significant non-exempt population
Experience with third party APIs & solutions integration
Strong technical aptitude in enterprise/ERP systems
Ability to lead and resolve questions and conflicts across organizational stakeholders

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $180,000 - $205,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
