As Director, Marketing Operations you will drive the operational vision and strategy for Sysdig’s marketing organization. You will lead the evolution of analysis, orchestration, and execution of marketing campaigns, bringing together marketing and sales leadership to create meaningful change. Your insights will contribute to optimizing pipeline development and return on marketing investment. Your work is critical to enabling data-driven decision-making across marketing and sales. What you can expect to do:
Operational Excellence. Envision a bright future. Enroll the marketing team in driving their business informed by data, empowered by technology, and leaning bravely into the unknown
MarTech Stack. Own the marketing technology architecture and strategy. Evaluate, implement, and maintain tools and technologies to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and scale
Analytics and Reporting. Develop and drive the roadmap for marketing analytics. Derive insights and present findings to executive leadership and marketing functional leaders. Build performance visibility into all parts of the marketing engine to surface actionable insights at the point of planning and execution
Database and Data Integrity. Manage and grow marketing databases that power analytics, audience targeting, and personalization while putting stewardship of our users’ data first
Marketing Automation and Process. Own the systems and processes for marketing automation and demand generation campaign management, lead routing, and data integration, Build and implement models and process for passing leads and accounts to the business development representatives
ABX Operations. Develop account based experience (ABX) operations strategy, plan, and implement processes and technology to hone our GTM motion with large enterprises
Marketing Budget. Manage marketing budget process in partnership with FP&A, ensuring marketing leadership and budget owners are familiar with their actual spend, forecast future spend, and understand ROI of their programs
Cross-functional Partnerships. Lead and influence initiatives to achieve GTM objectives in partnership with marketing, sales operations, product, and other teams
People Leadership. Lead a team that is passionate and collaborates across marketing to execute the vision
What you will bring with you:
10+ years of B2B marketing operations experience, SaaS and/or security preferred
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; ability to engage in strategic discussions and navigate complex business concepts
Proven ability to build a marketing operations team around a vision that drives business results through internal collaboration and cross-functional engagement
Passionate about using data to answer critical business questions and drive decision making
Experience with a variety of marketing and CRM technologies from both a strategic and execution perspective (Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Segment, etc.)
Mastery of advanced concepts around campaign orchestration, nurturing, and other marketing automation campaign capabilities
Deep understanding of data analysis and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Sisense, etc.), proficiency with SQL is a plus
Experience implementing ABX technologies and facilitating successful ABX operational strategies
Comfortable taking ambiguous requirements and shaping them into solutions using independent thinking and sound judgment
Excels at direction-setting, consensus-building, and communication in a dynamic, collaborative culture
Close attention to detail and diligent review habits

The U.S. annual salary range for this full-time position is between $167,000 and $209,000/year. This range represents a combination of annual base pay and targeted commission. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) the candidate’s work location, job-related skills, experience and education.
