About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to drive forward our analytics efforts, primarily supporting Sempre’s Product and Patient Support teams. This person will dive deep into Sempre’s data – including pharmacy claims, free text SMS conversations, call center metrics, and marketing data – to uncover insights and develop recommendations that will allow Sempre to efficiently staff patient support operations and guide product development decisions.
The successful candidate possesses experience analyzing large datasets to solve ambiguous business problems, a track record of success in cross-functional organizations, and a demonstrated passion for creating lasting impact on patients’ lives. Key Responsibilities
Evaluate Sempre’s product and operations performance on key indicators such as patient enrollment rate, medication adherence, or call center abandonment rate. Some of the questions you may attempt to answer include:
What characteristics are most predictive of successful enrollment in the Sempre program?
How many staff members are needed to support every 100,000 new patients?
How can we predict the number of patient support tickets that will be created in a given time period from a given set of patients?
Develop, test, and rapidly iterate on hypotheses that enable Sempre to improve on product performance and operational efficiency
Create scalable reports and dashboards that deliver timely and actionable information to workforce managers - primarily within Sempre’s Product and Patient Support teams - and senior management
Own analyses from start to finish: understand and frame stakeholders’ questions, develop a framework and project plan to answer their questions, gather and analyze data, and present synthesized findings
Requirements:
3 or more years of experience in data analytics, data science, healthcare economics, workforce analytics, or a related field
Exceptional data analysis skills, including proficiency with SQL and Excel (Python, SAS, or R are a plus, but not required)
Experience working with structured and unstructured data, such as pharmacy claims, free text conversations, call center metrics, or service desk ticketing data
Excellent communication and presentation skills - you will need to effectively communicate complex analysis to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
Strong project management skills - you will need to simultaneously manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks
A plus, but not required: knowledge of workforce management, direct mail marketing, or pharmacy operations
Sempre Health pays all employees, regardless of location, SF Bay Area salaries. We benchmark pay against private companies with comparable funding, valuation, and/or revenue. As a remote-first company we want you to be able to work from any state you'd like and receive the same pay you would if you worked out of our SF office. Ultimately, we will make you a competitive offer within the range below commensurate with your qualifications and experience. US Base Pay Range $81,300 — $99,400 USD
