This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about telling a story with numbers, identifying gaps/bottlenecks in processes, dreaming up ways to fix it, and enjoys mentoring/coaching fellow team members. This role is based out of Somerville, MA and requires at least 3 days a week in office. Responsibilities: Coach, mentor and manage a growing team of 2 to 3 GTM analysts. Be a partner to sales leadership in identifying areas to improve sales team’s performance and effectiveness through on-going analysis. Responsible for the end-to-end forecasting process. Work with global sales leaders by providing forecast projections; identifying forecast risk and potential upside. Define weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives for sales team. Build and help to standardize business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business review. Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes and evaluating new tools. Refine customer segmentation, assist with territory management, and help create a plan to enhance upsell, cross-sell and renewal processes. We are looking for someone who has: Someone who can work in a highly ambiguous fast paced environment and is comfortable making time sensitive decisions Someone who can learn on their feet and hit the ground running with minimal ramp time Intellectual curiosity Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Someone who is empowered to make independent decisions and encourages other team members to do the same Someone obsessed with improving themselves and the work that they and their team produces Demonstrative executive presence and ability to influence at all levels of the organization Ability to use any BI tool is a plus (Tableau preferred) as well as any SQL knowledge Advanced knowledge of Excel (data filters, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data connections, Macros) Familiarity with CRM systems ( salesforce.com  preferred) 3 years of Sales Operations or FP&A experience Leadership qualities Prior management experience is a plus Why you should join the SmartBear crew You can grow your career at every level.
