Partnering with our Workplace Operations Senior Manager, we’re looking to hire a Facilities & Real Estate Lead to help achieve that goal by managing various areas, including onsite facilities, real estate, vendors, programs, projects, and administration. You will assist in executing day-to-day activities of facilities operations, security, safety, service contractors, work requests, forecasting, and more. This role is a generalist position, and the successful candidate will “wear many hats.”  The work location for this role is limited to an in-office position in Santa Clara, California. The salary range for this position is $106,000 - $140,000. Our recruiting team will provide a more specific salary range based on work location and years of experience. In addition to salary, you will receive equity in RSUs, comprehensive healthcare, and other benefits.   In this role, you will: Manage Santa Clara facilities operations, including office maintenance, work requests, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc. Research new site options, negotiate leases, and assist in finding the optimal cost savings and use of space Contribute to overall workplace vision Be responsible for Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) issues, Safety Committee, evacuation team, and medical emergency response Engage and manage facilities-related vendors such as building maintenance, janitorial, recycle/waste management, equipment maintenance, and health & safety contractors Participate in construction projects, including coordination with management, vendors, the design & construction team, and contractors Provide first-level contact for emergency response Coordinate and oversee facility needs for all SoundHound sites   We would love to hear from you if: You have 6+ years of experience in corporate facilities, property management, real estate, or hospitality You completed a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Facilities Management, or EH&S You have exemplary computer, writing, and communication skills You have experience in a fast-paced, unstructured start-up environment You can work independently and possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills You are proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency to drive results You are comfortable doing "handy work" and have experience with basic tools  You can travel internationally if needed   We’d be especially excited if you have real estate and facilities management experience in a fast-paced environment for a company that has achieved significant growth.
