Manager, Sales Finance
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this will be a high-impact role as we build out our FP&A team. As the Manager for Sales FP&A, we are looking for someone to drive cross-functional strategic planning and deliver value-added business analysis across the company. You’ll work with company executives to define and report on meaningful financial and operational metrics to drive insightful and data-led business decisions. Your primary responsibilities will include driving the budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting processes to deliver accurate reporting. You will also be a strategic partner and work collaboratively to create new processes, enhance existing reports, and work on automation to further scale our business.
Role and Responsibilities
Partner with sales leadership and revenue operations in tracking and maintaining bookings forecast, revenue planning, and capacity/productivity models
Establish and maintain key metrics to help provide insights to business performance including CAC, sales productivity, pipeline velocity, etc.
Lead forecasting and budgeting cycles, partnering with department leaders on monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis
Own and maintain commissions tool and calculations
Develop and implement financial processes that improve productivity and support our rapidly growing business
Prepare exec level presentations that translate data into easy to digest insight and recommendations for management including monthly BvA reporting, QBR, and ad hoc analysis
Build complex financial models and analyses, including competitive analysis, pricing/gross margin analysis, pro forma models, scenario-based models with sensitivities, etc.
Partner with the Accounting Team to support the month-end close process
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, equity research, strategy consulting, or strategic finance, preferably at either a high-tech or enterprise software company
Strong experience with various financial applications, including ERP, CRM, and financial planning applications (Salesforce, Netsuite, Excel, CaptivateIQ, Pigment, etc.)
Familiarity with Enterprise Software (SaaS preferred) metrics, having experience calculating and comparing churn, dollar retention rates, cohort growth rates, lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, etc.
Team player, energetic, forward-thinking, and creative with high ethical standards
Strong partnership and communications skills
Experience working in a startup environment, with an ability to balance strategic initiatives and operational execution
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline

SingleStore’s base salary range for this position, is: $115,00 - $140,000 USD.
