Smartsheet is looking for a Senior Vice President of Demand. You will be responsible for pipeline and revenue growth, operational execution of programs, and defining a comprehensive demand strategy focused on driving the next level of customer engagement. In this new role, you will unify our Demand Generation, Field Marketing, and Digital teams into a global demand center. You will bring a passion for innovation and thought leadership, combined with a data-driven approach centered on the customer that drives B2B SaaS growth. You will report to our CMO located in our Bellevue, WA office, or you may work remotely from anywhere in the US where Smartsheet is a registered employer. You will: Own our demand generation vision and roadmap to obtain results, and spearhead initiatives to carry out innovative marketing strategies that exceed growth goals. Develop compelling go-to-market plans including; Field Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Digital and Demand Programs that will drive pipeline and revenue for our customer segments in all regions.  Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-channel digital strategy to drive lead generation and conversion optimization across our digital properties that elevates our brand promise and identity.  Partner with cross-functional teams across Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, in addition to marketing teams responsible for Brand, Global Events, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications and Marketing Operations to ensure alignment and integration of demand generation initiatives with business goals. Partner closely with sales executives to develop strategies and programs to identify opportunities for strong quarterly and annual sales pipeline and revenue goals; Establish regular reporting cadence, present outcomes, and discuss areas for improvement. Own communication with Sales and World-Wide Field Operations teams on demand plans, programs, status and analytics. Formalize regular feedback and data-driven decision making, with the objective of continuous process improvement, and excellence in execution by developing and leading a team dedicated to accelerating the sales pipeline. Partner with Business Intelligence and Data Science to identify opportunities to create new demand and improve the velocity of existing opportunities. Bring the best-in-class strategies from industry and internal learnings to evolve our demand capabilities. Continuously assess demand capabilities, identify gaps and opportunities to leapfrog competitors.  Lead and grow a team of high performing, amazing leaders and individuals.  Support other duties as needed. You have:  20+ years of experience in global marketing, demand generation, SaaS experience a plus. 15+ years of experience in a B2B enterprise leadership role. Demonstrated analytical skills, specifically around program measurement, ROI, and program execution. Proven track record of success in developing and executing global marketing strategies that drive growth in engagement, demand, and revenue. Business acumen with a deep understanding of buying group demand, enterprise, and digital marketing including trends, challenges, and competitive landscape. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Demonstrated thought leadership in the application of new technologies to marketing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives, stakeholders, and partners. Familiarity with Martech tools including Drupal, Marketo, Salesforce, 6Sense, Drift and more. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive bonus and RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. The salary range for this role is: $232,500 to $372,000.
