Financial Analyst, Marketing Remote Eligible In Costa Rica  Smartsheet is looking for a Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team focusing on marketing. As a marketing-focused analyst, you will serve as a trusted partner and play a crucial role in optimizing the allocation and execution of financial investments across the marketing organization and many channels. The position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive the rhythm of business cadences and contribute to the overall growth and success of Smartsheet.  This role will report to our Sr. Manager of FP&A located in our Bellevue, WA office. This role is remote-eligible. You Will :  Take ownership of the Marketing forecasting process, including the development, implementation and tracking of the marketing budget.  Work closely with marketing managers to gather budget requirements, updates and adherence to the allocated budgets throughout the fiscal year.  Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts, variance analyses, and budget accuracy reports.  Ensure all marketing expenses are accurately recorded, coded and reconciled in financial systems.  Review procurement requests and monitor expenditures against approved budgets; address any discrepancies promptly.  Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes related to budget management in order to increase forecast accuracy and efficiency.  Provide overall support and coordination to the FP&A team including general inquiries, ad-hoc requests and projects.
