About the role The Team Z Lead is a first-line manager responsible for leading a team of Ground System test and launch operations engineers within Integrated Operations. Primary responsibilities include providing leadership and technical expertise with focus on team performance, quality, schedule delivery, efficiency, and safety. The Team Z Lead is also responsible for performance management and development of the team. Required Skills & Experience Aerospace, mechanical, electrical, mechatronic engineering degree or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in project engineering. 4+ years of experience in engineering design, test and/or operations. Experience in launch vehicle or spacecraft test, launch, or mission operations. Able to motivate and enable a team to deliver on-schedule and on-budget. Strong background in technical areas related to test & launch operations. Self-driven, motivated and contagiously positive. Strong communications skills. Careful work ethic with an eye for detail. Effective organisational skills. Desired Skills & Experience 2+ years of experience in engineering management. 6+ years of experience in engineering design, test and/or operations. Demonstrated experience in development of test facilities, launch sites, and/or mission operations facilities. Exposure to FAA, NASA, RCC, USAF compliance programs.
