What We’re Looking For:
Manage the workflow process for a cross-department team to deliver best in class marketing solutions from conception through to production, ensuring effective collaboration, smooth delivery of services and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction for assigned School/Programs and projects.
This position is for a Creative Services Project Manager who can quickly understand every aspect of our marketing and creative team’s workflow, QA and production processes for planned projects and Charters. The individual in this role must be proactive and have the ability to keep things moving under pressure and on tight deadlines. The position requires keen attention to detail, organizational skills, adaptability, and sometimes a diplomatic touch.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Management of workflow process within CMG
Effectively manage, improve upon and develop workflow processes to deliver and maintain consistency across all lines of businesses for 2U.
Management of Project Initiation & Schedule for assigned School/Programs
Manage the intake process of incoming requests.
Vet requests to understand what’s missing from requests and what needs to be obtained before launching a project.
Implement prioritization of incoming requests and projects.
Schedule time and resources to meet scope, budget and deadline.
Meet with Brand to plan for quarterly budget and allocation.
Facilitate or schedule kick-off meetings when needed and gather team agreement on scope of work.
Manage scope changes, strategy changes and version control and proper documentation.
Attend/Facilitate weekly resource planning huddles.
Facilitate School/Program launch huddles.
Facilitate Retrospective Meetings when needed to gain input from the team on how to improve upon processes and systems.
Identify risks and how to mitigate them.
Manage Review Process/Approvals
Manage and mitigate day-to-day problems, ensuring strong and effective communication in difficult and time-sensitive situations.
Monitor review process to identify scope, strategy changes and maintain version control and manage resolution when identified.
Understand when and why to escalate issues and coordinate with team members to ensure agreed next steps are understood and completed.
Build strong working relationships with internal and stakeholder team members, establishing a role as a trusted resource and advisor.
Other Duties
Coordinate and collaborate with other project managers to develop consistent management practices and ensure effective support for creative teams.
Manage other projects within the department and 2U as assigned.

Things That Should Be In Your Background:
3-5 years of experience in a creative services project management role in a medium-large sized marketing creative team or Agency
Working knowledge of at least one ticketing and management program (Jira, Smartsheet, Basecamp, Trello or Workfront)
Highly organized, process focused, and a desire for continuous improvement
Self-motivated, flexible, quick, assertive, measured, calm and collaborative
Thorough understanding of creative process, brand standards, print and digital deliverables in order to schedule projects without creative management input
Bachelor's degree required
Strong customer relationship skills, verbal and written
Ability to interact with all personality types and with all levels of staff
Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Exceptional problem determination skills with a high attention to detail
Experience working within an agency or digital marketing department is a plus
Patient and excellent under pressure

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($80,000 - $85,000), with potential bonus eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
