Compliance Lead

As our Compliance Lead you’ll help us build the future of banking. Reporting to our AVP Partnerships, you’ll be joining a team who have helped build companies like Chime, Twitter, Instacart, E-Trade, McKinsey, Etsy, eBay and more. We’re a team of A-players who are all in on solving big, important problems. Feeling it? REQUIREMENTS As Compliance Lead , you’ll be working on our banking and financial management product. You’ll get to work with our marketing and product teams and help create solutions for important problems facing small business owners across the country, create and iterate regulatory and internal policies, and work with our operations teams to setup systems that ensure that policies are being followed. The skills required for this role -  You’ve had +5 years of experience in a high impact compliance role where you've gotten to work in Compliance Policy, Compliance Testing or/and Audit  You have expert knowledge of financial services laws, regulations, and regulatory trends that impact small businesses You have experience in completing end-to-end compliance testing activities You’re the best listener in the room and understand how to work with stakeholders across many different departments You're a natural problem solver and have a track record of being able to find solutions in fast moving tech/startup environments  You have strong project management, critical thinking and analytical skills You’re an excellent communicator with the ability to clearly present complex and sensitive issues You love technology and know how to use modern work tools (Google Workspace, Slack) FinTech or banking experience is a must Bonus points -  You have experience working at an early stage startup You have a legal or regulator background You're PMP certified You come from a family of small business owners You have a non-traditional or diverse background (personal or professional). This market range is based on total compensation (vs. only base salary), which is in line with our compensation philosophy.
