What You Will Be Doing
Work on site at our vendor to help them learn to debug our products
Provide remote support to our other contract manufacturers and RMA site
Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing production test and debug capabilities
Maintain Tools, Tests and Documentation for test and debug
Collaborate and assist our Test team with automated test enhancements
Debug and find the root cause of hardware and test issues
Use root-cause thinking to improve test coverage and prevent field failures
Work cross-functionally to improve test yield, efficiency, and coverage
Enable continuous improvements through test development and sprint planning
What you bring the the team:
Linux and BASH skills
Python programming experience
Demonstrable skill in designing, developing, and troubleshooting scripts (Python, Shell, SQL)
Test Automation experience
Some basic experience with oscilloscope, PCIE analyzer a plus
X86 platform testing and debug knowledge
5+ years or relevant industry experience
BSEE or Computer Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
Enterprise storage experience desired but not required
Must be located within commutable distance to our vendor in Houston, TX
Nice to Have
SQL and GIT/Bitbucket familiarity a plus
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma best practices
The annual base salary range is: $93,000 – $140,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
