Pure Storage is seeking to hire a Senior Solutions Architect focused on Artificial Intelligence Solutions.  As an AI Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to solve complex customer and business problems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, partners, and other business leaders in the development of AI solutions for Pure Storage. SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE... Design and develop robust and scalable AI architectures and solutions that leverage advanced algorithms, models, and frameworks to solve complex business and customer challenges.  Collaborate with our AI Solutions Manager, stakeholders and other business leaders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.  Be the technical interlock for AI solutions with our partner business units and the CTO office. Lead the development and implementation of end-to-end AI systems, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and deployment. Conduct performance analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting of AI systems, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Evaluate and select appropriate AI technologies, platforms, and tools to support the development and deployment of high-performance and scalable solutions that can highlight Pure’s products and services. Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI technologies such as deep learning frameworks, large language models, generative AI, data science tools, autonomous systems, machine learning with an emphasis on the data processing steps in a Hybrid business environment and apply them to improve existing architectures and customer solutions. Provide technical guidance to help Pure move into nascent or novel areas. Be a key collaborator and contributor to our AI evangelism efforts, highlighting Pure’s position in this critical domain, both within the company and with other industry forums. Form and build relationships with technical counterparts at our AI partner companies. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project roadmaps, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines. Design and build solutions within our lab, leveraging this work to build compelling technical collateral for both external stakeholders and our internal customers which will employ this in our go to market activities. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE... A deep understanding of AI and ML concepts, algorithms, and techniques is crucial. This includes knowledge of various supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, neural networks, deep learning architectures, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and statistical modeling.Hands-on experience with popular AI tools and libraries such as TensorFlow, pyTorch, scikit-learn, and Keras, or similar. Solid understanding of data management, data integration, and data preprocessing techniques. Experience with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and knowledge of deploying AI workflows and models in cloud environments. Some experience with containers (Kubernetes) and orchestration a plus Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including both verbal and written communication. Public speaking skills are required as you will be representing Pure Storage at various industry events. Ability to plan, outline and publish professional technical documents on schedule. Ability to translate technical features into tangible customer business benefits Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex technical challenges. Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks within a dynamic work environment. Some travel, domestic and international, may be required Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 5 years of experience as an AI Architect or a similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing successful AI solutions A Masters degree in computer science or a related technical discipline; or equivalent experience is required.  Demonstrated ability to successfully complete technical projects. Demonstrated experience in authoring technical white papers as well as project outlining and/or planning is preferred. Demonstrated ability to interpret performance data from operating systems. Experience with performance tuning and troubleshooting is preferred The annual base salary range is: $182,000– $273,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location.
