The Challenge
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) who will drive and improve the quality assurance function within OneTrust. The SDET will be responsible diving into the details to identify failure points using various data models, and influencing automation.
Your Mission
The SDET is responsible for adding, maintaining, and updating scripts in existing automation suite, helping out with running the suite across various checkpoints in the release cycle.
As a SDET, you will:
Hands on testing and documenting test cases, with a natural ability to deliver on short timelines
Work with Developers, product managers, and other functional team members to understand the requirements and expand the testing
Collaborate with different functional groups to identify gaps, prioritize, and resolve issues
You Are
You are someone able to shift left and support developer-written unit-level tests. You will work alongside developers to build API/Contract testing. You will work alongside Quality Engineering to build UI/E2E tests. You are someone with strong technical acumen, especially Java fundamentals. You can contribute to the framework for new actions.
Your Experience Includes
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical or business field
1+ years of relevant experience working as a developer, automation engineer or SDET
1+ years of experience coding in Java and must have strong practical knowledge of OOPs and Core Java principles
1+ years of experience with Selenium for automating UI of the application
1+ years of experience working in automated test and continuous deployment environments
Familiarity with tools such as Bitbucket, Git, Stash, Confluence, JIRA
Familiarity with applications deployed on cloud
Passion for high quality work and attention to detail
Familiarity with Agile principles
Familiarity with REST API testing
