If you'd like to build the world's best deep learning cloud, join us.  *Note: This position requires presence in our San Jose Headquarters and 15% Domestic travel What You’ll Do As the Circuit Provisioning Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, management, and support of network circuits to ensure seamless connectivity and reliable performance across our organization. This role requires expertise in cloud interconnect, SLA monitoring, contract negotiation, and support. Network Circuit Procurement Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess network requirements and determine the most effective circuit solutions Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor evaluation, selection, and negotiation of contracts Ensure timely delivery and installation of network circuits to meet business needs Circuit Management and Support Monitor the performance and availability of network circuits to ensure adherence to SLAs and proactively identify and resolve any issues Develop and implement comprehensive circuit management strategies to optimize performance, capacity, and cost-effectiveness Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve circuit-related problems Cloud Interconnect Work closely with cloud service providers to establish and maintain reliable interconnectivity between Lambda's on-premises network infrastructure and cloud environments Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud interconnect solutions based on business requirements and industry best practices Ensure secure and efficient data transfer between on-premises and cloud environments Contract Negotiation and Vendor Management Lead contract negotiations with circuit providers, ensuring favorable terms, competitive pricing, and appropriate SLAs Establish and maintain strong relationships with circuit vendors, monitoring their performance and adherence to contractual obligations Conduct regular vendor evaluations and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement You Have proven experience in network circuit procurement, management, provisioning and support, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment Have experience managing budgets and cost optimization, ensuring cost-effective procurement of network circuitry equipment and services Possess demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable contract terms and pricing Have strong knowledge of cloud interconnect solutions and their implementation, including direct connect, VPN, and ExpressRoute Have a solid understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and experience in monitoring and enforcing SLA compliance Possess knowledge of Access Server Request (ASR) to local carriers Understand the provisioning of network bandwidth for IP transit, fiber, voice and wavelength service Understand LLDP, LACP/LAG, MLAG Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve network circuit-related issues Possess strong documentation skills to maintain accurate records of network circuitry purchases, maintenance activities, and performance metrics.  Are able to generate reports and provide analysis for management or troubleshooting purposes Have a Bachelor’s degree from four-college or university and 2+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Nice to have A Proficiency in network performance deployment, monitoring, performance, and configuration tools  Familiarity with telecommunications regulations and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks in network circuitry procurement and support About Lambda We offer generous cash & equity compensation Investors include Gradient Ventures, Google’s AI-focused venture fund We are experiencing extremely high demand for our systems, with quarter over quarter, year over year profitability Our research papers have been accepted into top machine learning and graphics conferences, including NeurIPS, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, and TOG We have a wildly talented team of 150, and growing fast Health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents Commuter/Work from home stipends 401k Plan Flexible Paid Time Off Plan that we all actually use Salary Range Information  Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $70,000-$95,000.
