The Team You’ll Work With:
Captable Platform Experience is part of the Captable Experience Group that comprises 4 sibling teams; Company Management, Stakeholder Management, Transactions Management and Securities Management. Our goal for the Captable Experience group is to deliver an unmatched experience to our core captable customers through engaging and easy to use workflows.
For Captable Platform Team, we act as the core team to coordinate all UI/UX experience for the common user flows across all captable teams. This entails us working closely with other Carta platform teams as well as Carta Design Teams. Our team has recently worked on projects to improve navigation across carta platform by launching a new navigation framework. Improve the dashboard experience for our customers by optimizing for action oriented tasks, ensuring proper captable health and data correction.
The Problems You’ll Solve:
We empower users to use Carta to its fullest potential. Our team aims to make navigation through Carta easy, deliver cohesive user experiences, and generate excitement about new products.
We believe accomplishing these goals will create more trust in Carta’s platform, paving the way for users to grow with Carta.
Objectives:
Increase issuer NPS/CSAT/CES through easier navigation within the cap table product
Increase top of funnel lead generation for upsell products through navigation and education within the cap table product.
About You
Successful engineers in the team are:
Experts in React, its ecosystem and history, and know the ins and outs of using advanced features like hooks, context, render props, etc;
Seasoned front-end developers that understand how the Javascript ecosystem has developed over the past few years and that have worked with technologies like jQuery, KnockoutJS, EmberJS or others.
Experienced testers and are capable of both writing testable code and of writing unit, visual and integration tests;
Collaborators with designers and are familiar with their tools and workflows;
Experienced with Typescript and understand the value of strongly, correctly-typed code and the amount of time it saves to do so;
Seasoned writers of documentation, proposals, and specifications. Each component has to be explained in detail in a way that is accessible for designers and comprehensive for engineers;
Developers of tools that automate and simplify their and others’ workflows, from command-line interfaces to design and prototyping tools;
Knowledgeable about accessibility, usability, WCAG and ARIA tools and features and their impact on people who rely on assistive technology
