Our Warehouse Operations Associates are vital to our ground operations, playing a crucial role in shipping customers' orders. You will be an integral part of Flexport’s success, coordinating daily with ground staff, transportation partners, and carriers to ensure timely, safe, and flawless cargo processing (both inbound and outbound). This role is located at our Los Angeles Warehouse ( Address: 1420 N McKinley Ave, Los Angeles).
In this role, you will:
Coordinate communication and planning with multiple stakeholders for safe warehouse operations
Oversee entire shift operations, including updates, adjustments, pre-shift briefings, and and optimizing labor capacity for efficient cargo processing
Train teams in Flexport system usage and adherence to operational processes
Utilize Flexport's Warehouse Management System for logging cargo moves, exceptions, and labeling, as well as for making consolidation decisions
Resolve exceptions swiftly, maintain expertise in contingency plans, and drive productivity while ensuring warehouse operators meet performance targets and SLAs
Escalate and troubleshoot operational issues, audit documents, and resolve shipping problems
You should have:
3-5 years of prior supply chain, operations, or warehousing related experience
Strong communication skills, skilled in building collaborative relationships with diverse colleagues and external vendors
The ability to enforce safety measures and policies for all warehouse entrants, including operators, vendors, and senior team members
Passion for process improvement and operational excellence
The ability to work flexible hours; this role requires working variable hours to match when customers need us most. You may be required to work national holidays, weekends or night shifts, and may be asked to render overtime based on business needs. No overnight shift required.

The US base salary range for this full-time position: (exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits.) $53,361 — $65,219 USD
