We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our organization as the Director of People Technology. This leadership role requires a deep understanding of HR technology, data analytics, and the ability to align technology solutions with the organization's people strategy. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the rest of the People Team, IT, and business stakeholders, to deliver scalable and efficient technology solutions that support our talent management and employee experience objectives. You Will: Develop and execute Flexport’s people technology strategy in alignment with overall People and business goals, ensuring it supports the company's growth and talent acquisition strategies. Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Flexport’s People Team systems. Collaborate with the People Team, IT, business leaders, vendors, and stakeholders to define requirements, manage system integrations, and execute project plans effectively. Provide leadership and guidance to a team of HR technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous improvement - and fun. Stay updated with industry best practices and leverage technology advancements to enhance people processes, such as onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, and learning and development.  Identify emerging HR technology trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.  Ensure the seamless integration and data integrity between different HR systems, enabling efficient and accurate reporting and analytics. Ensure HR technology systems comply with data privacy regulations and maintain the highest standards of data security. Implement and enforce appropriate data governance practices, including data retention, access controls, and user permissions. You Should Have: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience (10+ years) in HR technology management, preferably in a leadership capacity. Deep understanding of HR systems, such as HRIS, ATS, LMS, and related technologies. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets. Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering HR technology initiatives. Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and HR compliance requirements. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training. The US base salary range for this full-time position: (exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits.) $173,871 — $193,190 USD
