Senior Accountant

Join us to solve real world problems while shaping the future of global trade. The opportunity: We’re looking for a Senior Accountant with this mission. You will be an independent, self-motivating, and analytical problem-solver who can operate successfully in a fast-paced, global, and results-oriented environment. A CPA license is a must for this role. What you’ll do: Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations Perform all related accounting functions required to maintain the general ledger in compliance with GAAP and company policy and procedures Analyze month over month financial variance analysis Partner with cross functional teams (FP&A and FinOps) on projects Assist with annual audit preparations Perform other accounting ad-hoc projects as assigned What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting Must have CPA license (active or inactive) or plan to sit for the exam preferred More than 3 years of working experience Strong acumen for detail and willingness to learn Strong financial analysis and problem solving skills Ability to effectively work and manage large amounts of complex data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills About Flexport: We believe global trade can move the human race forward.
