You are technically adept, you have business acumen, and you can simplify the complex. The role of Instructional Designer at Diligent will be responsible for creating engaging self-paced eLearning courses and other learning content (conference sessions, job aids, blogs, etc.) that enable our customers, partners, and staff to effectively use our platform to drive professional success. Responsibilities: Manage the full course development process from needs analysis to deployment Collaborate with subject matter experts to align content to the audience’s training needs Create immersive educational experiences using a variety of mediums to maximize engagement (e.g. diagrams, videos, activities, assessments, scenarios) Utilize style guides, user experience best practices, and user feedback to create beautiful courses that are easy to navigate Maintain courses and organize course documents and assets Manage infrastructure and course offerings in the Learning Management System (Thought Industries) Engage with learners through email, blogs, forums, and user groups What you need to succeed: 2-5 years of experience in curriculum and instructional design for adult learners in an eLearning environment In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models Strong project management skills Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, and audio and video scripts Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Experience with authoring technologies such as Articulate Rise 360 and Storyline 360, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite Familiarity or proficiency with coding is strongly preferred (SQL, Python, HTML, CSS) Experience or education in any of the following fields is preferred: Instructional design Technical writing Computer science Education What Diligent Offers You   Creativity is ingrained in our culture.
