What You’ll Do
Work with internal teams to develop or revise CM processes.
Work with internal teams on compliance and support with the Configuration Management Plan in areas of configuration planning, identification, configuration change management, status accounting, and verification & audit functions.
Work with internal teams to execute and support an enterprise change management process, interfaces with issue tracking, and continuous improvement processes.
Work with internal teams to mark technical data classifications for export control.
Work with application engineers to ensure configuration management processes are effectively implemented in systems and tools.
Work with employees to strategically build a company culture embracing configuration management and train the enterprise on configuration management processes.
Work with project teams to identify configuration items, process releases and changes, and provide relevant status accounting reports.
Support the department Manager in providing configuration change status accounting, reports, and analytics to use for continuous process improvement.
Define and maintain requirements for metrics collection to support and provide improvement opportunities for the business
Support maintenance of the design configuration to ensure accuracy for the enterprise.
Support Change Review Board process activities.
Support internal configuration audits.
Support supplier configuration audits.
Support Airline Operations CM needs to define and maintain CM processes
Provide support to department manager to determine solutions to unique issues
Represent department manager in providing solutions to the user groups when current process is incomplete, needs to be changed or questions arise
What You Need
10+ years of experience with configuration management in aircraft certification programs, including CM experience in developmental phases
Experience with aerospace TC programs and ARP4754 processes
5-7 years of experience executing configuration management in Product Lifecycle Management systems, including workflow driven methodologies
Experience with process development and organizational change management
Ability to read engineering drawings, ICDs, and other technical documentation
Experience with hardware development, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality processes
Ability to adapt to changes in priorities
Strong communication skills for interfacing with internal teams, vendors, partners, customers and all levels of company leadership
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with model-based definition for type design data
Experience with Teamcenter PLM
Experience with DO-178/254 processes
Experience working in an agile development methodology

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $141,120 - $176,400 . Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
