The Box Workplace Services team are the keepers, coordinators, and day-to-day managers of these spaces, consisting of thoughtful and collaborative leaders all around the world. Box is seeking a personable, motivated, fun, and well-rounded individual to join our San Francisco Communities & Impact Workplace Services team. This role entails overseeing office operations, facilities management, and a variety of responsibilities that foster and enable Box culture and communities to thrive, as we power how the world works. The ideal candidate will be proactive, thoughtful, and communicative, all while keeping a calm, “can do” attitude. You have a deep interest in helping others while looking to ace your core responsibilities and take on projects that move Box (and your career!) forward.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Must have the ability to support front desk operations and manage Communities & Impact WPS functions and responsibilities
Manage WPS budgets and programs (i.e., food programs, office supplies, etc.)
Facilities and vendor management: oversee day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance, cleanliness, security, and health and safety protocols
Office space planning and allocation: optimizing workspace utilization, coordinating office moves, and ensuring seating arrangements align with the needs of various departments
Support different teams as related to our function
Serve as the emergency coordinator and support Box’s business continuity efforts
Provide a high level of customer service
Actively engage in building community and culture - supporting projects and events, which includes planning, coordinating and executing
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor's degree in facility management, business administration or relevant field
Minimum 3+ years’ experience, ideally with a combination of office/facilities management, administrative work, and event planning
Experience in tech is preferred (but not required)
Technical knowledge: Coupa, Office Space, Building Management Systems
Self-starter, highly organized, flexible, and solution driven
A "roll up your sleeves" and get things done attitude - no task too big or too small!
A proven ability to juggle multiple deadlines and projects
